Hi,

I'm new to Dezhi systems.

I can access TSO via wc3270. Everything works just fine.

However, my display is merely 14cm x 14cm.

Kindly advise how may I change the display size and fonts, pls.

By reading the manual?

Or, if you use Windoze, spend USD 30 to get Tom Brennan's Vista tn3270.

14 cm???? Are you using a "smart" phone, per chance?

As Robert suggested, you might be better off finding a TN3270 program optimized for the "smart" phone environment, or at least a TN3270 program that is easier to adjust than wc3270.

The display size is nothing to do with Dezhi and all to do with the wc3270 program ad the 'dos box' that it runs in so read the manuals for both w3270 and the dos box.

WOW ! wc3270 is totally "hokey".

Cons

1. The session setup takes you thru the setup with a Windows CMD prompt interface, no GUI interface
2. If I try the -oversize colsxrows, I still get a session Window in XP that is totally small, don't see a session font size, just a printTextFont
3. Used ALT+N and got the MENU bar, but still no option to change session size.
4. Can drag session Window size UP and DOWN but no LEFT to RIGHT or RIGHT to LEFT
5. Session window is "way" to small

Pros

1. All the ISPF/Rexx functions seem to work
2. WSA works fine with it

This is kinda like the old version of QWS3270, wouldn't let you change session Window size, but the QWS3270 did have a GUI interface.

Not sure what platform you are using this on (SmartPhone, Tablet, Win XP/7/8) but I agree with Robert and Steve, you need another TN3270 software. WC3270 is way to "hokey" and complicated to use.

I agree with Mr. Silvers about wc3270. I installed it on my Win 7 laptop just to look at it.. The display window is big enough, but it has a very rough, unfinished feel to it. I don't use that laptop very much, and wc3270 hardly at all. Something like ISPF should be independent of the TN3270 emulator.

To change the screen size on wc3270 y'all must use the windows interface. Right click on the windows title bar of the wc3270 session ("userid - wc3270" [top line]). Select properties, then select the font tab. Change the font size to whatever is greater than the font size y'all are having a problem with - I use 14.
