IBM z manuals

Postby eMGee » Wed 17 Apr 2013, 14:03

In the IBM Manuals thread, the following is mentioned:
If you have a fast connection, you can actually download all 5Gb of manuals from IBM Online Library: z/OS V1R13 and Software Products DVD Collection, April 2012 (SK3T-4271-30).

I have tried that, added it to my ‘cart’ there, but I get no option to download (whatsoever). Ordering in general seems cumbersome, not that I'd want to spend any money on it. But, am I perhaps looking in the wrong place? (I followed that link and subsequent references there, also mentioned the product number code thing.) Pointers and additional information would be appreciated.

It works if you use the Download Director method, from here.

Through HTTP also seems to work, but I have no idea how you found that page. (Or not via the earlier provided references.) Well, either way, thanks.
