Getting stuck in LOGON?

It appears to me a number of first time users get to here -

If you don't do anything nothing will happen. If you kill your terminal emulator program and try to logon again the system will tell you you are already logged on, and you will have to wait for an hour or so before the system kills your session and lets you logon again.

You have to do something to continue. No, not hit the ESC key. That won't do anything useful! You just get a mysterious message.

I won't tell you what to do; that might anger the admins and I won't risk that. All I can do is give you a hint. It's very simple; you have already done it several times to get to this point.

On the other hand, if you do not know what to do then perhaps you should not be here as you are not expert enough.
