Regarding using IMS

Hi,

Can someone help me, getting into IMS. Initially when i type IMS its again coming back to same screen. Can anyone help me with this.

I have the same problem. When I type IMS on the screen, it just returns back to the Main Screen.

1.Is the IMS region up and running?
2.Do we have the necessary access-level or priviledge for IMS? Or does it require a seperate TSO-id?

The IMS regions is with really problems..
I checked today and saw that it was running:

83 R 17.19.58 ADCD IMS81CR1 *83 DFS996I *IMS READY* IVP1

but I tried to issue a simple command and it did not worked:

R 83,/DIS A
IEE600I REPLY TO 83 IS;/DIS A
DFS063I 19:42:44 RESTART COMMAND REQUIRED IVP1
*09 DFS996I *IMS READY* IVP1

so I searched and found that we had to issue /ERESTART or /NRESTART.
I tried the both command but it did not worked. The IMS region came down.
After I tried the first command, I had to start the region again.. but the same error happened..

It is down now.. Can someone help us? Thank you!
