hello

I checked the FAQ and I actually found the answer. But the ftp command "ftp efglobe.com" does not work for me. I get the message: "connect: unknown error number.

There are two problems,
  • The URL is wrong. The correct URL is fandezhi.efglobe.com.
  • In any event, inbound FTP (what you tried) has been disabled because it was abused.
  • You can do outbound FTP by setting up an FTP server on your PC and doing an FTP command on the fandezhi system to your IP address.
As far as I know the only fairly easy to use transfer method is the 3270 transfer interface. This works, but it is very slow. If you set the size of the transfer buffer to the maximum size allowed by your TN3270 program it runs a little faster.
