z/OS is down - does anyone know what happened

All I know is sometime between 7 AM and 8 AM August 24 the z/OS system stopped responding. At some point the entire EFGLOBE site seemed to be dead. By the late evening August 24 the EFGLOBE web sites seemed to be alive, but as of 9 AM August 25 the z/OS system is still offline. So, what happened, and is there an estimated time for the z/OS system to come up?

The z/os is down at least yesterday and today. Yesterday wasn't possible to access the http://zos.efglobe.com/

Is there any problem.

May you tell me when the system z/os will be available.

There was a power outage on the server(s). Will bring the system up sometime later.

Power. After a while I sort of guessed there had been a power problem; it's nice to know my guess was sort of correct. "Sort of" is the key; I was thinking there had been a full power outage at the site, though what sfan said it sounds more like some sort of a very local problem.

The system continue down. It would be interesting to know when the z / os again be available. I recommend the administrator to issue any notice on the web about it.

I waited for you all as the revival of the machine, and am very happy I can log in again this morning. It is a very great favor to work and study on such a system and see the machine was unavailable damage.
