Problem when try to load files to the host via ftp

Postby linfu » Thu 02 Sep 2010, 10:55

Hello,

I'm trying to make a "ftp" to the host following the post http://zos.efglobe.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=50 and produces the following error:
Host unknown efgloble.com

I'm trying to do this because using the Web service http://mvs.open-bpm.org/web3270.fcgi and sometimes cut the file in both the cargo and the discharge and not have a 3270 emulator where I am.

Any ideas or suggestions to make the ftp?

Thanks

Li

There is no FTP server on the fandezhi system, so FTP will not work. Period. End of story, Even if there were an FTP server, your address is wrong. As I understand it, at one time there was an FTP server, but it was "abused" (no indication as to the nature of the abuse) so it was taken down.

Outbound FTP works, so if you can get an FTP server running on your PC, you can start an FTP client on fandezhi and connect to your server.

Read FTP : How can I use this facility? and then read it again, so that you do not have to ask questions that are answered in this post...
