Db2 having problem
Posted: Sat 25 Jun 2011, 14:41Further to my previous post, DB2 subsystems problem is not resolved yet.
IPL on 23rd has brought up the DB2 subsystem but the database DSNDB06 ie catalog database remains stopped.
Until its restarted, none of tools will work,one will not be able to do any kind of work unless CATALOG database is restarted.
PLEASE restart the database.
from ULOg
/-db8g start database(dsndb06)
from db2i option 7
-start database(dsndb06)
also if some1 can check the VSAM files
DSN810.DSNDBD.DSNDB06.SYSDBASE.*
DSN810.DSNDBD.DSNDB06.SYSPKAGE.*
These are on FDB volumes unlike all other catalog Tablespaces VSAM files which are on non SMS managed volume Z6DB81.
