DB2 authorization failed

Postby Marty » Mon 13 Feb 2012, 08:25

Hi prino,
While using db2 i got
DB2 authorization failed :

While creating a table with corresponding (database-name.tablespace-name) on-511 return code

How exactly should I know my databasename.tablespacename with corresponding to my user-id.

we don`t have privilege to create a table on the existing tablespace and database.so,we need to create our own tablespace and database..

Please help.

Have you read this?

The z/OS part of FanDeZhi is run by volunteers in their own time (actually, by one single person), and although I (prino) help administering the fora (and can cancel (long-running) jobs and excessive output), I do not have the RACF privileges to do more (let alone the knowledge).

If you want to have a system with guaranteed uptime, get a contract with IBM or whoever supplies such contracts, and be prepared to pay a very substantial amount of money for the privilege. If you want to work on FanDeZhi, accept it the way it is. One more whining post, and you will bear the consequences!
