IKJ56420I Userid XXX not authorized to use TSO

Postby mikrom » Wed 15 Aug 2012, 11:51

When I try to logon I get the message:
IKJ56420I Userid MIKROM not authorized to use TSO
I don't know what's happenned.
I tried to RESET my userid, to RESUME my userid, I got confirmation emails, but nothing helped.
What's going wrong, please? Why is my userid disabled?

The message means the userid has been removed from the Fandezhi system. You cannot "resume" or "reset" this ID.

IMO, If my UserId was removed thern I would receive something like that it doesn't exist ....

You mean it serious? Are all my PDS with sources deleted too? ...I couldn't believe it...

Now, what shoul I do ? Should I apply for new TSO UserId?

Regards
Roman

In all likelyhood you did something you were not supposed to do, i.e. securitywise, or you were inactive for a long, long time. The administrators have been taking a more active look at the system to make it more usable and less prone to abuse by unscrupulous outsourcing outfits and training institutes that charge for a free system.

As for your data sets, they are gone, and that should teach you to make backups. The forum contains a sticky post on how to use FTP and if you had read it, you should have used the information.

Next to that, FanDeZhi is run by a bunch of people who try to keep this system going with minimal support, and it may very well disappear some day without any notice, which would also lead to the loss of everything you keep on it.

I do not know why your userid was removed, the info might still be available to one of the other admins, but if you want, nobody is going to stop you from applying for another.

Thanks for your answer,
I thng the reason could be, that I was inactive for long time. I have made backups for most of my sources.

The other issue is the userids known to the web site do not necessarily match the RACF userids. I don't think the z/OS admins can access, much less update, the web site z/OS userid list.
