Job card deleted after my user got reinstated

Postby mkmiecik » Mon 26 Nov 2012, 15:00

After my user got reinstated, I'm missing the PDS and member with my job card F018RKK.JCL.CNTL(JOBCARD). I wouldn't like to guess the file allocation values nor it is allowed to copy an existing file of another user, so I'm guessing the right way is to ask admins to re-create the data set for me. Hence, I'm kindly asking.

Regards,
Marcin

The userid.JCL.CNTL data set is created by the automated process used to create userids. The admins do not have access to this.

There is a good chance you deleted the member.

Code: Select all
//xxxxxxJ  JOB (12345678),xxxxxx,MSGCLASS=H,
//        MSGLEVEL=(1,1),CLASS=A,NOTIFY=&SYSUID
//***************************************************************
//***************JCL CREATED BY your name  *********************
//***************************************************************
Replace xxxxx with your userid, and "your name" with, well, your name and you have effectively created the member.

It's been re-allocated - you could have done this yourself using option 3.2...
